Stores and Transportation Department

The Stores and Transportation Department prepares an annual working plan, follows up on its implementation, and submits reports on achievements. It organizes and follows up on the daily movement of vehicles for the University's presidency according to work needs and powers granted. The section participates in the annual inventory of stores' contents and public auction, handles traffic infractions, accidents, periodic maintenance, insurance, and fuel consumption cards for vehicles. It is involved in the purchase, rental, sale, and lease of government movables, provision of office equipment and tools, and furniture for the University's presidency in coordination with the Financial Affairs Department. The section maintains records for each vehicle, ensures the correctness of financial claims, receives purchases, lists them in records, and keeps them in allocated places. It enters and keeps data of materials in the Stores' System, issues periodic reports, prepares supply orders according to needs, and performs any other duties within its area of competence.
