Workshop on Classroom Management Techniques and Tips

The ITD witnessed a very interactive session on 8th October 2024 when the Resource person, Mr. Humayoun Israr, ITD Lecturer, conducted a workshop on Classroom Management: Techniques and Tips. He began the workshop in a very innovative way by conducting a small activity which demonstrated the high impact of similar tasks that can be conducted by Lecturers in their classrooms to maintain the interest level of the students in learning difficult and new topics. At the end of the activity he awarded a gift to the winner, Mr. Sathyanarayana TV, lecturer of ITD. Our Head of Department Ms. Suad Al Riyami was present during the conduction of the workshop and appreciated each and every one for their participation and thanked Mr. Humayoun for demonstrating such an important teaching methodology in a very easy manner. All the staff who attended gained an insight on these aspects. Overall it was a successful workshop. The workshop was highly motivated by the Head of IT section Ms. Alice Lontok who encouraged the staff to attend and interact. The workshop was coordinated by Ms. Sonia V. Soans.
