Orientation program on 3D Objects Mold Designing Using SolidWorks

On Wednesday 27 November 2024, the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) UTAS- Nizwa hosted a highly engaging and insightful webinar titled “Orientation program on 3D Objects Mold Designing Using SolidWorks”. The guest speaker for the session was Mr. Talal Rashid Humaid Al-Nasiri, first trainer who is an expert in mold designing and SolidWorks applications. The event attracted a diverse audience, including students, faculty, and professionals, eager to gain valuable knowledge from an expert in the field.

The session commenced with an introduction to the fundamentals of mold designing and the versatile features of SolidWorks, a leading software for 3D modeling and CAD design. Mr. Talal Al-Nasiri demonstrated the step-by-step process of creating complex molds, emphasizing best practices and tips to optimize the design workflow. Participants were guided through live examples, enabling them to understand the integration of theoretical principles with real-world applications.

The guest lecture webinar was a resounding success, with positive feedback from all attendees. It provided an excellent opportunity for the university community to expand their knowledge and engage in meaningful discussions innovation in mold designing and manufacturing techniques.
