The University of Technical and Applied Sciences- Nizwa organized online webinar on OBE Framework for Academic Success in Universities on 09/04/2025 for the Engineering Department Team. The Coordinator of Industry Link Committee Mohammed Ismail Iqbal welcome the participants and Mr. Rakesh welcomed the speaker and thanked the university leadership for the approvals and floor was made available to the speaker to deliver the talk and the session was attended by 45 people..

The speaker covered following areas :

1. Traditional and OBE differences, challenges,
2. How to make the CO and PO and execution.
3.  OBE is about shift from what students is taught to what students understand/learn.
4. OBE is all about mindset, strategic plan and execution.
5. How academic excellence is through OBE.
6. Reasons of accreditation.

Dr. Vinagayan gave the vote of thanks to the speaker for accepting the request, thanked the management for giving permission to have this type of enlightening session. Towards the end he motivated everyone to have passion of lifelong learning.
