IT Team Secured the Best Paper Award

Students from the Information Technology Department have achieved the prestigious Best Paper Award at IMPACT'24 in India. Their innovative research, titled "Helmet Detection Using YOLOv8X Model for Ensuring Construction Worker Safety," garnered recognition at the International Conference on Harmonizing Sustainable Development Goals, hosted at Rathinam College of Liberal Arts & Sciences in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Dr. Lamiya Al-Shanfari, Head of the IT Department, extended her congratulations to the students: Mr. Salim Ahmed Salim Al-Kalbani, Ms. Shahad Said Abdullah Al-Shanfari, and Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed Al-Humumi, under the guidance of Dr. M. Chithik Raja.
