Welcome to the Quality Assurance Department (QAD) at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Salalah.

  At the QAD, our mission is simple: to make quality everyone's business. We work quietly behind the scenes — and sometimes very visibly — to ensure that everything we do at UTAS Salalah meets the highest standards of academic and administrative excellence. Our team of quality assurance officers, coordinators, and student Quality Ambassadors shares a genuine commitment to making this institution better, every single day.

 From internal audits and KPI tracking to policy development and accreditation preparation, we align our work with OAAAQA and ISA standards — not because we have to, but because our students and staff deserve nothing less. We believe that quality is not a checklist; it is a culture, and building that culture takes the effort and ownership of every member of our community.
