Introductory Workshop on the Freelance Work System and Khutwa & Tawteen Platforms in Musandam for Students

في إطار جهود جامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية بمسندم لتعزيز تمكين الشباب وفرص العمل نظّم البرنامج الوطني للتشغيل بالتعاون مع جامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية بمسندم ورشة تعريفية استهدفت طلبة الجامعة والمدارس بالمحافظة، وذلك في الحرم الجامعي. تركزت الورشة على ثلاثة محاور رئيسية: منظومة العمل الحر، منصة خُطى للإرشاد المهني، ومنصة توطين، حيث تم استعراض المبادرات الوطنية الهادفة إلى دعم الشباب العُماني، وتزويدهم بالمهارات اللازمة لمواكبة سوق العمل، وفتح آفاق جديدة في مجالات ريادة الأعمال والعمل الحر. وتأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن سلسلة من المبادرات الوطنية الهادفة إلى بناء جيل واعٍ ومؤهل للمساهمة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة في السلطنة، مؤكدة دور الجامعة في دعم الشباب وتمكينهم من اغتنام الفرص المتاحة. 

As part of the efforts of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Musandam to enhance youth empowerment and job opportunities,the National Employment Program, in collaboration with the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Musandam, organized an introductory workshop targeting university and school students in the governorate, held on the university campus. 

The workshop focused on three main axes: the freelance work system, the “Khutwa” career guidance platform, and the “Tawteen” platform. The session highlighted national initiatives aimed at supporting Omani youth, equipping them with the skills needed to keep pace with the labor market, and opening new horizons in entrepreneurship and freelance work. 

This event is part of a series of national initiatives aimed at building an aware and qualified generation capable of contributing to sustainable development in the Sultanate, emphasizing the university’s role in supporting youth and enabling them to seize available opportunities.
