زيارة ميدانية إلى المدينة الصناعية

Field Visit to the Industrial City

ضمن جهود جامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية – فرع مسندم في تعزيز الجانب التطبيقي وربط مخرجات التعليم بسوق العمل، نظّم قسم الهندسة والتكنولوجيا بالتعاون مع قسم التعليم المستمر وخدمة المجتمع زيارة ميدانية إلى المدينة الصناعية، بمشاركة طلبة القسم . تضمّنت الزيارة جولة تعريفية في مرافق المدينة الصناعية، شملت محطة الشركة العُمانية لنقل الكهرباء، وزيارة عدد من المواقع التشغيلية والفنية، إضافة إلى التعرّف على غرفة المضخات ونظام تنقية مياه الصرف الصحي، بهدف إكساب الطلبة خبرات عملية وتعزيز معارفهم الهندسية والتقنية في بيئة العمل الواقعية. وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار تعزيز الشراكة المجتمعية والتعاون المستمر بين الجامعة والجهات الصناعية، بما يسهم في تطوير مهارات الطلبة وتأهيلهم لسوق العمل

"As part of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) - Musandam’s ongoing efforts to enhance practical learning and align educational outcomes with the labor market, the Department of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with the Department of Continuing Education and Community Service, organized a field visit to the Industrial City for its students. The visit included a comprehensive introductory tour of the Industrial City's facilities. Students visited the Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) station and several other operational and technical sites. The program also featured an in-depth look at the pump room and the sewage treatment system, providing students with hands-on experience and reinforcing their engineering and technical knowledge in a real-world work environment. This initiative underscores the university's commitment to strengthening community partnerships and fostering continuous cooperation with industrial sectors. Such engagements play a vital role in developing students' professional skills and preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the job market."
