Transfer To UTAS
General conditions:
1- The student must be Omani and not more than 25 years old when submitting the transfer request.
2- There must be a vacant seat in the branch of the university or specialty to which he wishes to transfer.
3- To be enrolled in one of the government higher education institutions when submitting the application, on a full-time basis.
4- The student must meet the minimum approved and announced conditions for admission to the academic program to which he wishes to transfer in the
same academic year in which the student was accepted.
5- The priority is given to those with the highest averages in the general education diploma in the event that the cumulative GPA of the applicants is equal.
6- Submitting a proof of completion of the Foundation Program ( A or its equivalent) in accordance with the standards specified by the university and the
regulations governing the completion of the Foundation Program.
7- Submitting a valid international certificate that meets the admission requirements regarding the English language.
8- Student must have successfully completed at least ( 30 ) thirty credit hours of the academic program, and obtained a grade of no less than Good at the institution from which he is transferring and according to the university grade classification approved by the university .
9- The student must study at least 50% of university credit hours.
10- Courses in which he obtained a grade of no less than (C / C ) will be credited to the student according to the classification of grades approved by the university , and the percentage of similarity in the educational outcomes of the course should not be less than ( 70 %), and the student will be given a grade of (C) ( TC ) in those courses and is not included in the calculation of the cumulative average .
11- Submitting a proof that the student has been released from the educational institution from which he transferred, and proof that no disciplinary penalty has been issued against him related to honor , honesty, or academic integrity, before completing his registration procedures at the university.
12- The student must present a certificate issued and approved by the authorities proves that he does not work.
