Mathematics and Computing Skills Curriculum and Assessment Department

The Mathematics and Computing Skills Curriculum and Assessment Unit prepares operational and executive plans, follows up on their implementation, and submits periodic reports. It supervises the implementation of plans for mathematics and computing skills curricula according to the specified time plan for each semester. The Unit assesses the curricula of mathematics and computing skills for all programs, contributes to their development, prepares feedback reports, and submits technical recommendations. It distributes teaching loads and duties among faculty members of Mathematics and Computing Skills, prepares educational and practical materials for teaching these subjects, and assesses the quality of outputs to ensure compliance with international standards. The Unit applies systems and standards for examinations and continued assessment for Mathematics and Computing Skills programs, follows up on their implementation, and contributes to their development. It prepares and proposes qualification programs to develop the knowledge and skills of faculty members, assigns job duties to lecturers as needed, proposes professional development programs for its employees, and implements them in coordination with competent entities. The Unit also undertakes any other duties within its competence.
