The Continuous Education and Community Service Department is responsible for contributing to the preparation of the University's plans related to continuous education and community service, and following up on their implementation once approved by the competent entities. It supervises the enforcement of rules, regulations, and policies related to the department, proposing their development in coordination with concerned sections. The department fosters partnerships between the University and the local community to build and develop continuous education programs and enhance the skills of the local community. It implements and develops these programs based on feedback from stakeholders and employs qualified human competencies and the University's financial resources to serve the community.
Additionally, the department conducts surveys and field studies to identify the community's needs in continuous education and community service. It spreads awareness and promotes the culture of continuous education and community service in collaboration with concerned sections, and encourages University employees and students to engage in voluntary work. The department prepares an annual report on achievements according to operational and executive plans, identifies challenges, and proposes development plans. It also proposes and implements professional development programs for its employees in coordination with competent entities, contributes to improving services provided, and undertakes any other duties within its competence.
