Wellbeing
Support for Students with Disabilities and Special Needs
At the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, we are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible, and supportive learning environment for all students regardless of ability. We also strive to ensure a safe and healthy campus for all students, faculty, and staff through comprehensive healthcare services available throughout the university.
Disability / Special Needs
We encourage student with disabilities or special needs to disclose their requirements during the admission process. Early disclosure allows us to coordinate the necessary support from the very beginning of your academic journey. If a student develops a physical, psychological, or health related condition during their studies that may require accommodations, they should promptly inform their academic advisor or the Student Affairs Department so we can take appropriate action.
Mobility Support and Wheelchair Access
The university supports students with mobility challenges by providing wheelchairs free of charge. A dedicated wheelchair is available for students with physical disabilities, and an emergency wheelchair can be accessed when urgent assistance is needed. These wheelchairs are intended for use within the campus only. To ensure accessibility, campus buildings are equipped with elevators and ramps to facilitate movement for individuals using wheelchairs or with other mobility needs. For assistance, students may contact the Student Affairs Department or the campus clinic.
Please note: wheelchair use is limited to campus grounds only.
Campus Accessibility
Our campus has been thoughtfully designed to support accessibility for all:
• All academic and administrative buildings feature ramps and elevators.
• Key facilities are equipped to accommodate individuals with limited mobility.
