Scientific Research Center

The Scientific Research Center seeks to provide an appropriate environment for researchers and research teams to work together on interdisciplinary projects, applying expertise across a variety of fields. The center is in charge of providing assistance, coordinating, overseeing, and fostering research as a mechanism for extensive growth and technical progress.

The center aims at achieving the university’s objectives of helping faculty members by providing an encouraging environment for innovation, conducting distinguished scientific research, and supporting research efforts in order to contribute to fulfilling the center’s mission. The center endeavors to cater to the needs of researchers by offering comprehensive support programs and the most up-to-date technology, therefore enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of their research endeavors.

To achieve this leading role, the Scientific Research Center is seeking to accomplish several goals which are outlined below:

1. To enhance research skills among faculty and students to improve the university’s distinctiveness in all fields, which hopefully, in turn, will contribute to elevating the scientific rank of UTAS nationally and on a worldwide scale.
2. The objective is to provide a research infrastructure that is adequately prepared to support effective cooperation and encourage meaningful discussions among academic members and students
3. In order to foster collaboration between university researchers and both higher education institutions (HEIs) and non-educational organizations, it is essential to promote their involvement in scientific research initiatives.
