The Department of Science was established in 2017 with the opening of the science and mathematics education program at the Faculty of Education in Rustaq. The department consists of three main units, namely: Biology Unit, Physics Unit, and Chemistry Unit. The Department of Science focuses on providing high-quality education, includes highly experienced professors in the disciplines of Exact Sciences, and seeks to use the latest teaching methods - theoretical and practical-that comply with quality standards.
The Department seeks to achieve all this with its operational plans, its active participation in scientific research, and community service inside and outside the college, apart from encouraging its students to scientific participation, developing self-learning skills, and scientific research.
