Two-day Workshop on Employability Skills by Khimji Training Institute Organized by OJT

 

 Workshop Title: Employability Skills for graduating students

OJT Business department has organized a two days’ workshop on Employability skills for Graduating students by Khimji Training Institute (KTI) Oman, a very well-established training institute of the country. The two days’ workshop was organized on April 17-18th, 2023 from 10: 30 am to 2: 30 pm for the two days at the seminar hall of Khimji Training Institute. The team from Khimji Ramdas Training Institute included Mr. Nadeem Ahmed.; Ms Bhakti Joshi; Mr Said Elsisi; Affan Al Zadjali; Ms. Hasna Al Duhani and Ms. Sweety Shantanu. The main aim of the workshop was  to facilitate the movement of the newly graduated students from campus to the corporate.

The workshop started with screening the earlier submitted CVs of the participants (OJT Students) and the sessions of Mock Interviews. A panel of 3 to 4 interviewer’s conducted in depth interview of the students to access their ability and skills. 

The second day of the workshop i.e. April 18th 2023, commenced with a brain storming session to the explore the challenges/expected challenges of the students in  their job search journey. 

Later in the day Mr. Nadeem Ahmed guided the students through an excellent presentation and audio visual aids on the strategies to overcome the challenges. The students were also advised and guided for the effective development of CVs and avoid the mistakes.

It was a very productive workshop and well taken by the participants, the OJT trainees. They appreciated the efforts of OJT Committee and Khimji Training Institute ( KTI)
