The HR Department is responsible for providing services that are designed to support and assist all aspects of the UTAS, Muscat employment. Those responsibilities and services are derived from Bylaws, and Civil Services Law as follows:
- Develop an annual action plan for the department, monitor its implementation, and submit regular progress reports detailing achievements and milestones.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities regarding recruitment.
- Create and maintain employee records and ensure continuous updates of employee data
- Collaborate with concerned entities regarding training and staff professional development opportunities.
- Provide necessary data, information, and statistics concerning human resources within the branch
- Issue certificates upon request, including letters "To Whom It May Concern" and employment experience certificates.
- Supervise and monitor the staff attendance
