Applied Science Department-Chemistry Laboratories and Beyond

The Applied Chemistry section arranged a comprehensive four-day training workshop under the title "Chemistry Laboratories and Beyond". This workshop is scheduled to take place from January 21st to January 24th, 2024. The primary objective of this workshop is to enable participants to develop a high level of confidence and competence in executing laboratory tasks while adhering to rigorous safety protocols, proficient chemical management, meticulous sample preparation, and efficient equipment operations. The day 1 of the workshop, which occurred on January 21st, 2024, predominantly focused on safety and first aid. This session featured insightful presentations delivered by esteemed representatives from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, complemented by practical demonstrations showcasing various first aid techniques. 

Day 2 of Applied Chemistry Section four-day workshop, which tack place on January 22, 2024, focused on chemical management chemical inventory, risk assessment, control measures and compliance disposal. The event included scientific aspects and interactive activities designed for the participants.
