زيارة ميدانية لتعزيز التعاون بين جامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية بمسندم وشركة “بيئة”

Field Visit to Strengthen Collaboration between UTAS Musandam and “Be’ah” Company

في إطار تعزيز الشراكات المجتمعية وتبادل الخبرات، قامت جامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية بمسندم بزيارة ميدانية إلى شركة “بيئة”، حيث تم عقد اجتماع مع المدير العام لإدارة نفايات الرعاية الصحية ومدير أكاديمية “بيئة” لمناقشة أوجه التعاون الممكنة بين الجانبين. وتناول اللقاء سبل تعزيز الوعي البيئي لدى الطلبة والمجتمع المحلي، وإمكانية تنفيذ برامج تدريبية مشتركة، وتنظيم مبادرات ومشروعات بحثية في مجالات الاستدامة وإدارة النفايات، بما يسهم في تحقيق رؤية عُمان 2040 نحو بيئة مستدامة واقتصاد أخضر. 

As part of enhancing community partnerships and exchanging expertise, the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Musandam conducted a field visit to “Be’ah” Company. A meeting was held with the General Manager of Healthcare Waste Management and the Director of Be’ah Academy to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the two parties. 

The meeting addressed ways to promote environmental awareness among students and the local community, explore opportunities for implementing joint training programs, and organize initiatives and research projects in the fields of sustainability and waste management, in line with Oman Vision 2040 toward a sustainable environment and a green economy.
