Academic Integrity and Plagiarism

نظّم قسم الدراسات التحضيرية في جامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية بمسندم ورشة توعوية بعنوان "النزاهة الأكاديمية والانتحال العلمي". هدفت الورشة إلى تعريف الطلبة بمفهوم النزاهة الأكاديمية، وتوضيح ماهية الانتحال العلمي وأهميته وطرق تجنّبه، مع تسليط الضوء على أبرز النقاط في سياسة الجامعة المتعلقة بهذا الجانب. كما تضمنت الورشة إرشادات عملية حول إعادة الصياغة، والتلخيص، والتوثيق السليم للمراجع. 

The Preparatory Studies Department at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Musandam organized an awareness workshop titled “Academic Integrity and Plagiarism.” 

The workshop aimed to introduce students to the concept of academic integrity, explain the meaning and importance of plagiarism, and highlight ways to avoid it. It also shed light on key points in the university’s policy related to this topic. Additionally, the workshop provided practical guidance on paraphrasing, summarizing, and proper citation of references.
