Workshop - Data Magic with Pivot Tables: Simplify, Summarize, Succeed
    The Staff Development Committee of the Department of Business Studies organized a workshop title “Data Magic with Pivot Tables: Simplify, Summarize, Succeed” on September 8, 2024, at BS 133. The workshop aimed to enhance the business staff’s digital literacy in navigating the rapidly evolving technology particularly in the field of data analytics.
    The hands-on training session conducted by Dr. Reshma Delfine Dsa, HOS – HR, allowed participants to create, design, analyze and interpret large data sets. She highlighted the power of Microsoft Excel’s pivot feature in transforming approaches to data-driven decisions. Participants not only learned the technical skills to create and customize pivot tables but also developed the ability to analyze data more effectively and efficiently.
    The session concluded with a practical exercise to apply the lessons learned. Customized pivot tables for deeper analysis and more insightful reporting were generated.
