 The Office of Deputy of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Postgraduate Studies, Scientific Research and Innovation is committed to fostering an environment that nurtures intellectual curiosity, innovation, and excellence among all faculty members and students. It is also responsible of promoting collaboration with industries, government and other higher education institutions. We are oriented to identify all available research opportunities that enhance long-term interactions and collaboration leading to the achievement of Oman Vision 2040 and the university strategic goals.

The University of Technology and Applied Sciences-Ibra discerns the importance of postgraduate programs, scientific research and innovation as three essential elements to add excitement and dynamism to the educational process. The university has successfully promoted technological and applied research related to the fourth industry revolution technologies and twenty first century competencies in the field of engineering, business and information technology. The University's research achievement is demonstrated in terms of funded research projects, research publications, organization and attendance of locally, regionally and globally recognized research and innovation events.
