Qualitative Research Study using NVivo

On April 16, 2023, Business Department's Research Team in collaboration with SDC organized a workshop titled “Qualitative Research Study using NVivo.” The aim was to equip participants with both theoretical understanding and practical skills in qualitative data analysis, focusing on NVivo software.

Dr. Esrafil Ali, an esteemed expert, led the event, emphasizing the importance of qualitative data analysis and NVivo’s role in research. Through hands-on exercises, participants learned thematic analysis, coding, and theme generation using NVivo. They also explored advanced techniques like word cloud generation and text mining for data visualization and insight extraction.

During the workshop, participants engaged in question-answer sessions, which were insightful and contributed to a deeper understanding of the material. Additionally, discussions among participants facilitated the exchange of ideas and experiences, further enriching the learning environment. Overall, the workshop was well-received, with participants expressing gratitude for enhancing their research capabilities in qualitative analysis. This success reflects the commitment of the Department of Business Studies at UTAS, Ibra, in fostering academic excellence and research proficiency.
