Industrial Visit to Omantel

University of Technology and Applied Sciences- Ibra, College of Economics and Business Administration organized an industrial visit to the Omantel Headquarters in Muscat on 21st April 2025 for HR students enrolled in the Talent Management and HR Counseling and Mentoring courses. This visit offered students a valuable opportunity to witness the practical application of the theories they have studied in the classroom. They explored various departments within the company, gaining deeper insights into Omantel’s internal processes and operations. The session included detailed presentations on the company’s Talent Management strategies and HR counseling and Mentoring practices. A total of twenty HR specialization students took part in the visit, which proved to be an enriching and interactive learning experience, exposing them to the latest trends in their field. Dr. Edukondala Rao Jetti and Ms. Indu Unnikrishnan accompanied the students. A Q&A session with Omantel officials further enhanced their understanding by linking academic concepts to real-world industry practices.
