CCIS new Intake Students Orientation

 

The College of Computing and Information Science recently hosted an orientation programme to introduce new students to its academic offerings, study regulations, and university support services. The event started with a presentation by the Student Guidance Department, which outlined the available advisory and psychological support services. This was followed by the Research and Entrepreneurship Department, emphasizing the importance of research and innovation. The Quality Assurance Department then presented the college's quality policies and evaluation mechanisms.

 

The program highlighted the college's academic programs, available majors, and future opportunities in technology and information science. Motivational messages were shared to inspire confidence among students. Additionally, students were introduced to the IT Society, which enhances their technical skills, and were provided information on accessing university support services and course registration.

 

The event concluded with a motivational speech from a Student Guidance Committee member, who provided valuable advice and encouragement to their peers. The college reaffirmed its dedication to promoting innovation, excellence, and a supportive learning environment in the fields of technology and data science.
