The College’s vision and its scholarly frameworks are continuously familiarized with the most recent innovations in the scientific and scholarly arena. Its plans seek to fit the reality of the era, reading its developments, and articulating responses that keep pace with the rapid technological (r)evolution. With a desire to support a generation that is aware of the requirements of its profession and aware of the foundations necessary to build its future, Rustaq College of Education provides its students with the tools to acquire knowledge, skills and values, and the ability to build a strong personality capable of determining their career path while adhering to their national identity and the authenticity of their communities.
The Rustaq campus of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences believes that its motivation for continuing to provide society with distinguished output can only be realized by seeking to attain the required excellence to improve its output and its graduates’ thinking and refine their experience. Hence, its vision is futuristic, its reading is realistic, its steps are scientific and scholarly, and its plans are compatible with the laws of development and the principles of technical progress.
One of the priorities on which the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Rustaq is betting is that it shall embody a model whose output is in keeping with the latest theories. All of this makes the College strive to develop its educational elements and programs, including the multiplicity of specializations comprised in them, such as the education majors in English, physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics.
The College reviews its programs continuously and plans in line with these developments, believing in the importance of expanding educational programs and postgraduate programs in the future. Therefore, the College relies in its vision and premises, seeking to promote proficiency in the preparation, support, training, and building of generations by embracing them from their first entry and systematically monitoring their time in the College. As such, Rustaq College of Education is a scholarly environment that pursues an educational policy whose vision is based on keeping pace with advanced visions; a matter that contributes to the formation of a supportive environment and an appropriate scientific climate and reality.
Rustaq College of Education gives quality assurance processes and the University’s strategic plan its focused attention and special care. It seeks to improve its work in the light of the University’s strategic plan, its goals, and sub-goals, concretizing them to create a high-quality teaching and learning environment, thus working to establish the idea of quality in its educational environment. This is reflected positively in the improvement of preparation, monitoring, and evaluation of the College’s operational plans.
One of the most important goals of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Rustaq is sustainability in partnerships with the local community, the business sector, and partner institutions in order to achieve complete and sustainable development in various fields of knowledge and to activate professional development, community service, and continuous learning programs by disseminating scientific knowledge and conducting activities that serve people from all walks of life and cater to the needs of the students.
