Staff Development Program titled “Academic Integrity and Honesty (Plagiarism) Policy"

The College of Economics and Business Administration (CEBA) held a Staff Development Program titled “Academic Integrity and Honesty (Plagiarism) Policy” on Sunday, 7 December 2025. The program aimed to raise staff awareness of plagiarism policies and promote responsible academic conduct in teaching and research.

The session emphasized originality, proper citation, and respect for intellectual property, outlined common forms of plagiarism and their consequences, and explained institutional procedures for handling academic misconduct. Participants were also encouraged to use plagiarism detection tools effectively to support learning, feedback, and research integrity.

The program concluded by reaffirming the importance of academic integrity in maintaining high academic standards and fostering a culture of honesty, accountability, and excellence within the College.
