Peer-to-Peer Tutorial Program Empowers Students at CEBA
In line with the College of Economics and Business Administration's (CEBA) commitment to supporting students facing challenges in high-risk courses, the Peer-to-Peer Tutorial Program was launched by CEBA senior students.
On December 6th and 10th, 2024, Ms. Reem Jaboob, Ms. Hajer Ba Omar, and Ms. Malka Al Ghaili, top-performing Marketing students, led two successful tutorial sessions in Principles of Marketing. Similarly, on December 17th, 2024, Ms. Maryam Al Mashani, Ms. Iman Al Mashani, Ms. Sara Al Shanfari, and Ms. Khalood, senior Marketing students, facilitated tutorials in Introduction to Business.
The program leverages the academic excellence of senior students to provide personalized support, enhancing comprehension and boosting confidence among peers. The sessions focus on key concepts, problem-solving, and study techniques, aimed at improving academic performance and reducing failure rates.
Student feedback highlighted the success of the program, with participants noting that "the sessions provided valuable insights and practical experiences." Many students also appreciated how "the tutors shared their knowledge and academic strategies, which were incredibly helpful," emphasizing the positive impact of the peer-to-peer support on their academic progress.
The Peer-to-Peer Tutorial Program highlights the power of student collaboration and mentorship, empowering struggling learners while building a supportive academic community.
