Preparatory Studies Center-English-Linguish

The Event Management Committee (EMC) of the Preparatory Studies Center, UTAS-Muscat conducted the first competition of the Fall Semester AY 2023-2024 on Tuesday, 24th October. The competition was for students in the Level 1 & Level 2 General Foundation Program. There were 38 students who were grouped into 19 teams. Three rounds, namely grammar-shrammar, vocabulary, and spelling the word were part of the competition. The students gave a scintillating performance and enjoyed decoding and testing their own language skills. The EMC members conducted and judged three rounds. The highest-scoring teams won the first, second, and third places.
