Post-Foundation Course-wise Staff Development Sessions

On Wednesday 8th February 2023, the ELC Post-Foundation staff attended their respective Course-wise sessions to share and discuss strategies, plans, and ways to improve their delivery of the courses in semester 2. The sessions were held for the courses – English for Academic Purposes (EAP), Technical Writing (TW), and Public Speaking (PS). The EAP session was led by Ms. Hana, the Technical Writing Course was led by Dr. Jocelyne, and the Public Speaking Course was led by Ms. Alya. All the teachers attended their respective courses and participated actively in the discussions on the challenges that were faced in the previous semester. They also worked together in groups on effective strategies to overcome the challenges. The Academic Coordinators, Dr. Faiza, and Mr. Khalid were also part of the discussions and motivated the staff to start the upcoming semester with optimism.
