Participation in Youth Summit 2023: From the Ground Up: Local Solutions to Drive Global Impact - USA

Business Studies Students enrolled in Talent Management and HR Counselling and Mentoring course Participated in the Youth Summit 2023, returning for its 10th edition, the World Bank Group Youth Summit aims to engage youth on the most pressing topics facing their generation, bringing together thousands of participants from around the world. The Summit was executed on May 25-26, 2023, with activities and engagements in different regions and at the World Bank Group headquarters in Washington DC. 

The objective of the Summit was to Empower youth to explore innovative ideas to tackle development challenges​, provide youth with the tools to build and engage in impactful projects​, and to promote dialogue between youth, the WBG, and other key stakeholders globally. The 2023 World Bank Group Youth Summit themed ‘From the Ground up: Local Solutions to Drive Global Impact’ is dedicated to ensuring development solutions are generated locally, elevated globally, and scaled cross-regionally.

The main theme of day one focused on “Community-Driven Strategies and Delivery Systems for Achieving Development Goals” and the second day focus was on “Empowering Local Leaders, Building Strong Communities to Drive Global Impact”.
