Mrs. Mariya AL Rashdi, a lecturer in the Pharmacy Department at the University of Technology and Applied Science in Muscat, took part in the Young Scientists Award organized by NextGen Omics in London, UK. She delivered a successful presentation of her scientific poster during the two-day conference held from November 9th to 10th. This international participation not only represented the University of Technology and Applied Sciences but also acknowledged the University of Brighton as the institution where the research was conducted. The conference provided valuable insights into spatial omics and drug discovery, expanding understanding in previously unexplored fields. The success of the two-day event is expected to have a noticeable impact in the near future, as the gained insights are applied in both academic and research settings.

ماريا الراشدية، محاضرة في قسم الصيدلة بجامعة التكنولوجيا والعلوم التطبيقية في مسقط، شاركت في جائزة العلماء الشبان التي نظمتها NextGen Omics في لندن، المملكة المتحدة، وقدمت عرضا ناجحا لبحثها العلمي خلال الفترة الممتدة ليومين في المؤتمر (9-10 نوفمبر). شكلت هذه المشاركة الدولية في المؤتمر تمثيلا لكل من جامعة التكنولوجيا والعلوم التطبيقية مسقط وجامعة برايتون كمكان عمل تمت فيه البحوث. فتح المؤتمر آفاقا جديدة في مجالي التقنيات الجزيئية التي حلها مكانيا والمصصمة لتحليل الجزيئات البيولوجية في موقعها الأصلي داخل الأنسجة واكتشاف الأدوية، ووسع الفهم في ميادين جديدة لم تستكشف من قبل. نجاح اليومين المشاركين سيكون بالتأكيد ملحوظًا في المستقبل القريب عند تطبيق ما تم فهمه في الممارسة الأكاديمية والبحثية على حد سواء.
