Competition Overview:

Host: Muscat College

Theme: Project Management

Format: The competition involves students receiving a specific project and having three hours to prepare a comprehensive project management plan.

Time: 28/11/2023 from 9:30 am to 1 pm

Participants and Teams: Each team of 4 students. Three teams from CEBA  Under the supervision of Mr. Zahir Al Shaikh, the project management course lecturer

The project management competition hosted by Muscat College focuses on project management, challenging students to demonstrate their skills in planning and executing projects effectively.

The competition aims to enhance students' understanding and application of project management principles, including initiating projects with a thorough project charter, stakeholder management, scheduling, budgeting, and quality management.

This type of competition provides students with practical experience in tackling real-world project management challenges, preparing them for future professional endeavors in the field.

Judging Criteria: Judges evaluated the submissions based on the clarity, feasibility, and completeness of the project management plans. Attention to detail, effective stakeholder analysis, and a well-structured schedule and cost management approach were key factors.
