Preparatory Studies Center - Creativity in Learning

Ms. Ruqaya Al-Salhi arranged with her skill group, Level 2, group 11, a workshop on December 11, 2023, in the Preparatory Studies Center at MPH. The workshop was organized to explore and engage with the different units covered in the Listening book, with a touch of creativity. The students explored new ways of engaging with the subject matter. They designed various interactive activities and presentations, each focused on a specific unit from the book. Students created dynamic games based on a unit's content, which fostered healthy competition and teamwork. Besides being entertaining, the performance also served as an effective teaching tool. Students also led discussions on the units, during which they shared their reflections. Participants could ask questions and engage in deep conversations, enriching their understanding of the topics. Overall, Mrs. Ruqaya Al Salehi's students were successful in bringing the book's units to life creatively and innovatively through the workshop they ran. It was evident from the presence of many teachers, including Ms. Tafoul Al Shinfari, that this approach is well-received and emphasizes the importance of incorporating creativity into learning.
