Business Studies Department- Application on Tally Prime for generating the financial statements

The Business Studies Department  Muscat branch organized a workshop on “Application on Tally Prime for generating the financial statements”, This workshop was presented by Dr Phani Kumar, Senior Lecturer, Accounting Section, Business Studies Department, UTAS Muscat. The main theme of this workshop is enhancing practical skills in the application of Tally prime for financial statements. The Venue, Date and Time of the workshop is on the 15th of February 2024 from 12 PM to 2 PM through MS Teams.

Dr Phanikumar, started the session with an introduction to the application of |Tally Prime and how it helps the organization, generate financial statements with ease. The key highlights of the session are:

•  Recording transactions using Predefined vouchers.
•   Generating Trail Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement and other financial reports

 To conclude, Dr. Phani Kumar conducted the session in an effective way.  The participants got an idea of how to streamline the financial statements. Questions were raised and clarified. Overall, the session was impressive.
