UTAS-Ibra Students Participate in the 2026 Oman Collegiate Programming Competition

Students from the Information Technology (IT) and Engineering Departments of the **University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Ibra (UTAS-Ibra)** participated in the **2026 Oman Collegiate Programming Competition (OCPC)**, held on 20–21 October 2026 at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).

The competition allowed students to test their programming skills, solve challenging problems, and work together as a team. It also allowed them to apply what they have learned in the classroom and gain experience competing with students from other institutions.

The participation of the IT and Engineering teams reflects UTAS-Ibra's commitment to encouraging students to take part in academic competitions and develop their skills beyond the classroom. Such activities help students build confidence, improve their problem-solving abilities, and prepare for future challenges in their chosen fields.

UTAS-Ibra is proud of its students for taking on this challenge and representing the university. Their participation is an opportunity to learn, gain experience, and demonstrate the skills they have developed throughout their studies.

We wish our IT and Engineering teams the best of luck. Stay focused, work together, and give your best in every challenge. Represent UTAS-Ibra with pride and uphold the university's good name!
