IT and Engineering Students Join IEEE Oman Congress 2026

Information Technology and Engineering Departments

Students from the Information Technology and Engineering Departments participated in the IEEE Oman Student and Young Professional Congress 2026, held on October 14, 2026, at Arab Open University in Muscat.

The event featured several technical activities, including Robotics and Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions. Students from the Information Technology Department participated in the CTF competition, where they applied their cybersecurity knowledge and problem-solving skills in a competitive setting.

The event also gave students a chance to meet and interact with participants from other institutions, share experiences, and learn from the different activities. Taking part in this competition was a valuable experience for the students, as it allowed them to put their classroom knowledge into practice and experience the challenges of technical competitions.

The participation of IT and Engineering students in the IEEE Oman Congress 2026 shows the college's support for activities that help students improve their skills and gain experience outside the classroom.
