The Staff Development Committee under the Department of Computing and Information Sciences organized a branch-level webinar titled “The Future Is Intelligent: How AI Is Reshaping Learning” on 17 February 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The session was facilitated by external resource person Dr. Sonia Victor Soans, Lecturer, DCIS, UTAS-Nizwa.
The webinar offered valuable insights into how Artificial Intelligence (AI) has moved beyond being a distant promise and is now actively transforming how students learn, educators teach, and institutions function. The future of education is becoming increasingly intelligent, adaptive, and personalized, driven by rapid advancements in AI technologies.
