Report on “Invisible Marketing” (Workshop)

The Department of Economics and Business Administration (DEBA), UTAS–Ibra, successfully conducted a Community Outreach Program workshop on “Invisible Marketing” for students on 14th April 2026. The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Jasmine Mariappan & Mr. Abdullah Thanseer with the objective of enhancing students’ understanding of modern marketing strategies that influence consumer behavior in subtle yet impactful ways.
The session introduced students to the concept of invisible marketing, highlighting how brands strategically shape customer decisions through techniques such as product placement, digital personalization, subconscious branding, and customer experience design. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, students gained valuable insights into emerging marketing practices and the evolving digital marketing landscape.
The workshop served as a meaningful learning platform, helping students bridge knowledge gaps and develop greater awareness of innovative marketing approaches relevant to today’s business environment. The program was well-received by the participants and contributed positively to their academic and professional development.
