Report on Innovative Idea Poster Presentation Day

The Department of Business Administration (DEBA), UTAS Ibra, successfully organized the Innovative Idea Poster Presentation Day on 9th December 2025 at the University Main Hall. The event served as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities through visually engaging and concept-driven poster presentations. 14 groups out of 65 groups were selected for the presentation.

The primary objective of the program was to encourage students to think innovatively and develop practical solutions to contemporary challenges in business, technology, and society. Participants presented a wide range of ideas, demonstrating originality, research skills, and an understanding of real-world applications. The posters covered various thematic areas, including sustainability, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and community development.

Expert panel interacted with the participants, providing constructive feedback and appreciating the depth of thought reflected in the posters. The event also gave students the opportunity to enhance their communication skills as they explained and defended their concepts to the judging panel and audience.

The atmosphere was energetic and inspiring, with enthusiastic participation from students across different levels of study. The event successfully fostered a spirit of innovation and collaboration among the students, aligning with the university’s mission to promote creative thinking and applied learning. The event ended with selecting the top 3 groups and prizes were awarded to them.
