The Department of Business Studies at UTAS Ibra organized an in-house poster designing competition for lecturers on October 30, 2024, in BS 112. The event was organized jointly by the Research Team and Staff Development Committee, which aimed to promote awareness and uphold academic integrity within the digital landscape through the theme “Academic Integrity in the Digital Age.”
The competition saw enthusiastic participation from faculty members who showcased their creativity and commitment to the theme. The winners of the competition were Mr. Nawaz Khan, Dr. Padma Losani Dayalan, and Ms. Tharaya Said Salim Al-Harthi, whose outstanding posters captured the essence of academic integrity and reflected both the challenges and solutions in maintaining ethical standards in digital education. The event was judged by Dr. Adnan Raza Khan and Sherin Thomas. The event successfully highlighted the importance of integrity in academia and fostered a collaborative atmosphere among faculty.
The session concluded with a celebration of the winners and an acknowledgment of all participants for their efforts in promoting academic integrity. Faculty members engaged in discussions about the importance of maintaining ethical standards in the digital age, reinforcing the event's objectives and fostering a commitment to integrity within the academic community.
