Guest Lecture on Counseling in Human Resource Management at UTAS–Ibra

The Department of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Ibra, organized a guest lecture on “Counseling in Human Resource Management” on 16 April 2026 in BS 132. The session was delivered by Ms. Fathiya Hamood Al‑Salmi, Head of the Counseling and Guidance Department. She discussed the role of counseling in supporting employee well-being, improving workplace relationships, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. The lecture was interactive and included practical examples that helped students relate HR concepts to real workplace situations. The positive response to the session reflected the department’s strong commitment to supporting student academic development through expert involvement.
