Specialization Orientation Report

College of Economics and Business Administration (CEBA)

The College of Economics and Business Administration, UTAS-Ibra creates awareness on the various specializations offered and their career prospects to support students to choose their specialization. In this regard, the specialization induction program was conducted for eligible students who will be moving to Specialization in the next semester on 23rd April 2024 at 11.30 PM in BS 109. Dr. Edukondala Rao Jetti, Dr. Abdullah Khalfan Hamood Al Azri, and Dr. Reshma D’sa were the resource persons and a total of 37 students attended the program.

Dr. Edukondala Rao Jetti spoke about the significance of opting for Marketing, Accounting and Human Resource Management as a choice of specialization. He enlightened the students on the skills that can be attained by pursuing the same alongside the prospective career opportunities.

Dr. Abdullah Khalfan Hamood Al Azri briefed about the employability scope for the above specializations and the required skills that the students need to develop, the different job positions available in the different functional area of specialization, etc.

Dr. Reshma D’sa briefed about the requirements for specialization allocation and the criteria concerned with the same. She also motivated the students to develop communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to choose their preferred specialization.
