The Department of Economics and Business Administration, in collaboration with the Accounting Society, celebrated International Accounting Day on 10th November 2025 at the Business Lobby. The event aimed to recognize the vital role of accounting in driving business success and promoting financial integrity.

The celebration brought together faculty members and students, creating an engaging platform to appreciate accounting as the “language of business.” Interactive activities such as quizzes, student led presentations, and discussions highlighted how accounting extends beyond mere numbers serving as a foundation for transparency, ethical practice, and informed decision-making in organizations.

Students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their knowledge of accounting principles and their understanding of the profession’s importance in the global economy.

The event concluded successfully, emphasizing the value of accountants as strategic partners in organizational growth and guardians of ethical financial management.
