IEEE Day 2024

 

On the 1st of October 2024, the UTAS-Ibra IEEE Student Branch celebrated the IEEE Day 2024 with the theme of “Engineering Future Skills Development Program” whose aim is to bring together the academia and industry from various fields of engineering, introducing new technologies and advancing further the skills development of our engineering students.

 

The event was categorized with different activities namely Membership Campaign of Professional Bodies (IEEE and ASME), technical talks and workshops. The event details are as shown below:

Over 120 participants from both the Engineering and IT departments attended the event and it was a resounding success on many fronts.

 

The event was spearheaded by Dr. Shamganth K, UTAS-Ibra IEEE Student Branch Counselor, and Dr. Sami Al Ghnimi, UTAS-Ibra Student Branch Mentor and supported by Dr.Saravanan Kathirvel, HoS-Mechanical Section and with the help of IEEE Students and ASME Students along with distinguished staff members from both Engineering and IT Departments.
