The Department of Engineering at UTAS-Ibra is delighted to announce that Ms. Kanagala Santhoshi and Dr. Ramesh Palanisamy have received the Best Paper Award at the prestigious 2025 IEEE 6th International Conference on Robotics and Manufacturing Automation (ROMA2025), held from 20–22 August 2025 at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian France Institute (UniKL MFI), Bangi, Malaysia.

Their award-winning research, presented during the conference, makes a significant contribution to advancing robotics and automation for next-generation manufacturing systems. This recognition is a testament to the University’s commitment to impactful research, innovation, and knowledge exchange on the global stage.

IEEE ROMA2025 brought together leading scholars, researchers, and industry experts from around the world to showcase pioneering work in robotics, intelligent systems, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare automation. Being honored among such distinguished participants highlights the originality, relevance, and interdisciplinary strength of the research conducted by Ms. Kanagala Santhoshi from the Department of Engineering and Dr. Ramesh Palanisamy from the Department of Information Technology.
