This study investigates using Calotropis gigantea milk and various waste materials, such as aluminum dust, date palm fiber, shopping plastic bags, and thermocol beads, to create thermally insulating self-cured concrete from bio and industrial waste.

The College of Creative Industries at the UTAS held the Creative Industries Forum at Bait Al Zubair Museum from May 5 to 6, 2024, aiming to enhance the role of creative industries in sustainable economic development. The forum featured panel discussions, success stories of graduates, and an art exhibition, highlighting the university's efforts to prepare students for the global knowledge economy.

The design department students Anwar Al-Subhi, Al-Shifa Al-Suleimani, and Omima Al-Muqimi won four different prizes in the Arab Student StarPack competition, organized by UNIDO and LibanPack.
