Event Details

UTAS Chemistry project students, supervised by Dr. Amal Al Rahbi, received this award at the Innovation Competition during the 17th Leaders of Tomorrow event in Dubai, UAE.

The Chemistry section at UTAS-Muscat received an award in recognition of their outstanding contributions, dedication to research excellence, and innovative impact on the academic community between 2019 and 2024.

The OQ Hackathon for Digital Sustainability, held on 20–21 September 2024, provided a platform for innovative solutions in sustainability and digital technology. The Engineering and Technology Department at UTAS-Nizwa participated with the project "Home Automation: Water Supply and Water Tank Monitoring System over IoT" under the supervision of Dr. Wisam. Their innovative solution won the prestigious Best Prototype Prize.

" Agricultural Farming Robots (AFROBOTS) " won FIRST PLACE in the 7th IET GCC Robotics Challenge on 18th of November 2023

"RENEWABLE ENERGY BASED SMART UMBRELLA FOR STREET VENDERS" won the FIRST PLACE in the National Level Student’s Technical Paper Presentation in Advanced Engineering and Technology (TAET 2024), organized by the Engineering Department and Research & Consultation Department of UTAS, Al Mussanah in collaboration with IEEE Oman Section.
