Graduating students with the qualification of competence nationally and internationally in Diploma in Chemical Engineering with a solid foundation of scientific and technical knowledge and are equipped with problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills and able to maintain their professional practices to pursue advanced diploma or bachelor's level programs.

 

 

The objectives of the program are to:

 

  •  Provide technical graduates with a foundation of knowledge in science and mathematics in the context of Chemical Engineering practices.
  •  Promote lifelong learning.
  •  Develop an understanding of professional awareness and sustainable development in the economic and social context.
  •  Develop graduates' skills for effective practices and communication as individuals and as team players.

 

Graduate of Diploma in Chemical Engineering are able to:

 

  •  Demonstrate understanding of basic knowledge of mathematics and science to Chemical Engineering principles and professional practice.
  •  Apply engineering skills and make use of technical and modern tools in Chemical Engineering applications to identify, evaluate and solve Chemical Engineering related problems and manage industry-related tasks.
  •  Demonstrate the capability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  •  Demonstrate self-motivation and lifelong learning skills and use substantial entrepreneurial skills.
  •  Demonstrate the ability to act professionally and ethically in the workplace.
